From Sorrento along the coast by boat

After pick-up you reach the port by land and board the boat. The route follows the Sorrento coast, with its terraces over the sea, the Baths of Queen Giovanna, the Bay of Ieranto and the marine reserve of Punta Campanella, then the Li Galli islands, the bay of Nerano, Praiano and the Fjord of Furore. The assistant on board tells you the stories behind each place.

Amalfi

The first stop is Amalfi, where you have about an hour. It is enough to walk to piazza Duomo and climb the steps of the Cathedral of Saint Andrew, the landmark of the town.

Ravello by minibus

From Amalfi a minibus takes you up to Ravello, a quiet village on the hill where you stop for about an hour. The main sight is Villa Rufolo and its garden, looking out over the whole Gulf of Salerno. The minibus is included; entrance to Villa Rufolo and other attractions is paid separately.

Positano

The last stop is Positano, again for about an hour: time for the alleys, the small shops and the colourful ceramics, and for the classic photo of the town from the boat as you arrive. At the end of the day you are taken back to your meeting point.

Which boat tour from Sorrento?

With Ravello you see three towns, but the time in each is short. If you would rather have longer in Amalfi, choose the Amalfi and Positano boat tour from Sorrento, from € 84. All departures from the Peninsula are on the excursions from Sorrento page.
