Departures from Naples

Boat tours from Naples

Capri or the Amalfi Coast in a day, with morning pick-up in the city and return in the evening.

From € 94 per personCity pick-up from 7:00Capri and Amalfi Coast

Two kinds of boat trip leave from Naples: to Capri, with a loop around the island, and to the Amalfi Coast, with Amalfi and Positano. Pick-up is early in the morning in the centre, return in the evening.

Not sure which one? Capri is better if you want sea and grottoes, the Amalfi Coast if you feel like walking around the towns. On board there is assistance in English and Italian, often in Spanish too.

The boat trip from Naples to Capri

The boat leaves from the port of Naples and crosses the Gulf with Vesuvius behind you. At Capri it circles the island: the Faraglioni, the Natural Arch, the White, Green and Marvellous grottoes seen from the water, then you land at Marina Grande and have free time to go up to the Piazzetta or Anacapri. From June to September there is a version with a swim stop in the bay of Marina Piccola.

The boat trip to Amalfi and Positano

You sail along the Sorrento peninsula to the Amalfi Coast. In Amalfi you get about three and a half hours, in Positano one hour, and on board the assistant tells you about the coast going by. It is the alternative to the coast road, which in summer is one long queue.

How the day works

There are two pick-up points in the city, via Caracciolo at 7:00 and piazza Museo at 7:10. You are back in Naples in the evening. Boat trips from Naples run every day from 1 April to 31 October; the swim-stop version only from June to September.
