We had the best time with Cheto!! We felt extremely safe and loved every minute!! He made sure to stop at each grotto and my family was able to swim at different places.

Why a private boat
The group boat tours around Capri follow a fixed route and a fixed clock. On a private boat the route is yours: more time in the water, a second swim stop, lunch on the island or none, an early start to be at the Faraglioni before the traffic. The skipper knows the coast and the sea of the day and suggests, you decide. It suits families, couples celebrating something, and groups of friends who travel to Capri for the sea and want the Capri boat experience without sharing the deck.
Around the island
The coast of Capri is 17 kilometres of cliffs, and almost everything worth seeing is on the water side. The route takes in the White Grotto and the Green Grotto, the Natural Arch high above the sea, Villa Malaparte on its headland, the bay of Marina Piccola, the lighthouse at Punta Carena on the western tip and the Faraglioni, where the boat passes through the Arch of Love in the middle rock when the sea is calm. On the north side you pass the Blue Grotto; entering it depends on the sea and the queue at the entrance, and the visit is paid on the spot.
Swimming, snorkelling and time on the island
The skipper stops for swimming and snorkelling where the water is clearest that day, usually on the side sheltered from the wind. Masks and snorkels are on board, as are snacks and drinks, alcoholic and not. If you want to see Capri on land as well, you can go ashore at Marina Grande and take the funicular to the Piazzetta or the bus up to Anacapri, then come back to the boat. The limoncello tasting is on board.
Ports, price and booking
You can leave from Capri itself or from the mainland: tell us where you are staying and we propose the port and the boat, and the transfer between your accommodation and the port is included. The price is for the whole boat and depends on the port, the size of the boat and the length of the day, so we quote it case by case. Bring swimsuits, towels, sun cream and a hat; in March, April and October a windproof jacket for the crossing. The tour depends on sea conditions.
Other Capri boat tours
If a shared boat is fine, the Capri boat experience on a gozzo takes at most 12 people for two hours around the island, from € 60. Our day trips from the mainland, from Naples and from Sorrento, include the cruise around the island and free time in Capri. For the Amalfi Coast on your own boat see the private boat tour of Positano and Amalfi. Everything is on the Capri boat tours and private tours pages.
