Everything was perfect 😁. Half an hour more of free time in Anacapri and half an hour more of free time in Capri would be ideal, but I understand the time constraints. A tour in French would also be nice, although our guide explained things well 👍

Reviews of this tour
The trip was excellent, great value for money. I chose to do all the optional activities at each point - gardens, chair lift to top of mountain, boat tour. It was a busy day but excellent way to experience capri in one day.
I liked the experience, but the time in the City of Capri is very short; everything is very fast.
Capri and Anacapri from Naples with a guide on land
Among the Capri tours from Naples this is the one for people who want to understand the island as well as look at it. The difference with the Capri boat tour from Naples is on land: there you have free time, here a licensed guide and a minibus for the group, which on Capri is worth a lot because the public bus between the two towns is full by mid-morning.
Pick-up in Naples and the crossing
There are six pick-up points, from Fratelli La Bufala in via Caracciolo at 7:00 to Starhotels Terminus in piazza Garibaldi at 7:40; be there five minutes early. A transfer takes you to the port and the boat leaves with Vesuvius behind you. On arrival at Marina Grande you pay the landing fee of the town of Capri, € 5 per person, not included, and the crew give you a map of the island.
Anacapri with the guide
The minibus climbs to Anacapri, the upper town: white lanes, small squares, the view over the Gulf. The guide tells you about the island as you walk. From Anacapri the chairlift goes up Monte Solaro, the highest point of Capri; the ride is optional and the ticket is paid on the spot.
Capri town, the Piazzetta and the Gardens of Augustus
In Capri the sightseeing is on foot: the walk takes in the Piazzetta, piazza Umberto I, and the Gardens of Augustus, with the entrance included: from the terraces you look down on the Faraglioni, Marina Piccola and the bends of via Krupp. In the lanes you taste the limoncello and pass the workshops that still make sandals and perfume on the island. At the end of the visit the guide leaves you with free time for lunch, shopping and whatever you want to see on your own.
The boat trip around the island, if you want it
For € 24 per person, booked with the tour, in the afternoon you go round Capri by boat with the tour leader: the White Grotto, the Green Grotto and the Marvellous Grotto, Villa Malaparte, and the Faraglioni with the Arch of Love. The Blue Grotto is not included because of the waiting time at its entrance; our Blue Grotto guide explains how to visit it on your own. Then the boat returns to the mainland and the transfer takes you back to the pick-up point.
