The island tour, with a swim in the middle

This is the same round-the-island trip as our one-hour Capri Coast to Coast tour, with one difference that changes the day: the boat stops and you go in the water. In summer, after the heat of the Piazzetta, it is the best half hour on the island.

What you see from the boat

From Marina Grande the boat follows the coast and enters the Marvellous Grotto, the White Grotto and the Green Grotto, each with its own light. You pass under the Natural Arch and Villa Malaparte, round the lighthouse at Punta Carena, and reach the Faraglioni, where the captain takes the boat through the Arch of Love in the middle rock when the sea allows. The Blue Grotto is not part of this tour.

The swimming stop

The captain picks the spot according to the sea and the wind that day: a cove or a stretch of open water with the cliffs above you. You jump from the boat, swim, climb back on board and the tour continues. Bring a swimsuit, a towel and sun cream; there are no changing rooms on board, so wear the swimsuit under your clothes.

Meeting point, times and price

You meet our staff at the office in via Don Giobbe Ruocco 51, at the port of Marina Grande; they give you a map of the island and walk you to the boat. Departures at 10:30, 12:30 and 14:30. Adults € 35, children up to 5 free. The ticket is an open voucher: you book the date, and the time is confirmed on the spot according to the sea.

Other Capri boat tours

Without the swim, the one-hour boat trip around Capri costs € 25 and runs from March; with a stop at the Blue Grotto there is the Capri Coast to Coast and Blue Grotto tour. For a small boat with drinks and more time in the water, see the Capri boat experience. Everything is on the Capri boat tours page.
